Break-Away

We need to break away from the places where ‘democracy’ happens, where councils are guarded from public access by police so they can practice a narrow, alienating form of democracy in which the austerity measures can be passed.

We need to break away from TUC Stewardship, so we can express our anger at the daily practice of financial and state institutions.

We are not a minority and our numbers are growing. We are the body politic of the cuts.

Against Cuts

We have thrown paint at HSBC, RBS, Topshop, and Boots because these cuts are disgusting; they are the latest part in a sequence of shocking decisions by those in government and those cashing in on social division. They are refusing to listen to anyone but the greedy little voices in their head, and the greedy fat cats next door. We don’t want to be divided and we don’t want to be ruled. We want to find other pissed-off people with whom we can live fulfilling lives minus oppressive governments and minus multi millionaires. We do not want to ask someone else to make decisions for us, we want to build communities of trust and contentment. Representative Democracy is not the final option. Capitalism is not the destination. Rather, our governments insult us, and capitalism steals from us. Now they have stolen so much from us, we have less to loose and more to fight for and guilty minds must be warned, you should have been kinder to those passed on the way up, for you have a long way to fall, and we will not forget.
Cut the government. Paint everything.

The Paint is on the Wall

The Paint is on the Wall

Today, there is no need for justification, only explanation.
Today, we paint…

We’ve stretched our creative resistance to fit circumstances.
The cuts serve no purpose but to attempt to divide us and keep capitalism afloat: supporting those that need the least.

This is a statement of intent, involving a spirit that is already there.
We are you, and refuse to be contained.

Paint everything.

We are You

Who are we?
Who produced this communiqué?
Who took these actions?

We are the Invisible Assembly!
We are the ‘Trouble Makers’.
We are the ‘anarchist hijack’.

We are any of you who wishes to determine their own fate. We are those of you who are asking questions and finding answers through the creativity of struggle.
We don’t all wear black. We don’t belong to any particular organisation. We define ourselves not by our relationship to work but by our relationships to each other.

We realise ourselves in friendships, in groups of affinity, in the few uncommodified spaces left. Every time today when the orders from a steward to keep moving have been ignored, every time a police line has been broken and in each instance when the property that represents the destruction of our lives has been attacked – you will find us here.

We are everywhere because we are you, and finally, we are beginning to speak.
